Dear Friend
We all long for exaltation or promotion—sometimes we try to gain it through our skills, our efforts, or by seeking recognition from people. But true exaltation does not come from man; it comes only from God.
Peter reminds us that exaltation requires two things: humility and God’s timing. The mighty hand of God has been at work through all generations, and it is still strong today to provide for us. But for His hand to lift us, we must willingly place ourselves under it in humility and submission.
This September, I encourage you to wait on God’s timing. Who knows—this could be your due season, if you humble yourself under His mighty hand. Remember, submission positions you for exaltation, and God’s timing makes it perfect.
